Summer at Las Vegas' Poolside Paradises

Gossip Pool
It's officially pool season in Las Vegas and just in time for the rising temperatures, several hotels are welcoming vacationers looking for some poolside fun with new pool names, new cocktails and even a few special pool packages.

Earlier this month, The Siegel Group-parent company to Rumor Boutique Hotel and Artisan Hotel Boutique-announced both Rumor and Artisan will be kicking off the season with new names for each of their pools. Gossip-The Pool at Rumor and Naked Pool at the Artisan (pictured) will each offer a completely different vibe from other hotels on the Strip, according to Michael Crandall, director of business affairs for The Siegel Group.

"Gossip-The Pool at Rumor is for those looking for a Palm Springs meets LA, meets Vegas, type of environment-cool, sexy and relaxed," Crandall explains. "For those looking for something a bit more rock ‘n roll and voyeuristic, Naked Pool at the Artisan will have plenty of both."

At each resort, guests will find live DJs, new distinctive drinks and intimate cabanas and lounging areas. Guests at Gossip-the Pool at Rumor, for instance, can catch some sun on a poolside chaise with a Rumor Mill daiquiri or Tipsy Tea cocktail, or relax on a grassy knoll in a hammock. And at Naked Pool at the Artisan, visitors can lounge in a private cabana with a Naked daiquiri or Cherry Seduction in-hand, or lay out on an oversized daybed surrounded by palm trees and slow running fountains.

Each pool will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily throughout the summer season. For more information, visit rumorhotel.com or artisanhotel.com.

Vacationers can also head to The Flamingo, offering a 15-acre tropical poolside retreat, complete with interconnected lagoon-style pools, a cascading waterfall and a seasonal waterslide. And with the hotel's Summer Fabulous Deluxe Pool package, guests receive accommodations in a deluxe guestroom and two complimentary poolside drinks. Rates start at $75 per night.
